It's customs round up time!
This time I'm including April and most of May
Let's dive in!
First up is this stunning abalone set. As something I had never worked with before, I certainly did not expect abalone to capture my heart as it did. After a quick trial and error, I created a protective coating for over this colour shell. Protective coatings are not something I typically do, but for the abalone it was necessary.
Then an eye catching rose cut emerald with matrix. This ring is was fresh off the polishing wheel in this picture, sorry about the hands. This ring was kept clean and simple with a smooth bezel and a simple split ring band. I find this really allows certain stones to show their true enchanting nature.
And of course we can't forget about everyone's favourite lately... Pendants!
From the blue hues of glowing blue kyanite and dreamy sandhill turquoise, to the pink hues of star ruby and pink tourmaline, these pendants are going to be treasured for ages. I think the star ruby may be the smallest pendant I've made so far.
April and May are typically extremely slow months for me, so I am so happy that you have been keeping me busier than usual with your custom and website orders. I cannot fully express how much I appreciate it. With all the fires going on in Alberta I know it's not easy to be purchasing new jewelry when the future is unknown and to be honest, kind of scary. So thank you for choosing to shop and work with me!
I can't wait to look back on these custom order round ups and see how much my work has changed and grown!
